New GFB G-Force III Boost Controller - the 3008

GFB’s 3008 is their latest addition to the G-Force III range of boost controllers and sits alongside the existing 3005 G-Force III.

The G-Force III is a sophisticated stand-alone electronic boost controller that can be used on a wide variety of turbo engines that use a pressure actuated wastegate (NOT suitable for use with electronic or vacuum actuated wastegates).

What sets this range of boost controller apart from other products is its ability to monitor and display your engines air/fuel ratio in either Lambda or AFR. This is achieved by connecting the analogue output of most wideband O2 controllers to the controllers auxiliary input, allowing you to switch displays between boost pressure and air/fuel ratio.

Not only this but GFB’s G-Force III controllers safeguard your engine against lean mixtures at high boost by automatically lowering boost to the minimum setting and warning you via the display lighting.  This makes 3008 a must have to protect your engine.

The G-Force range also gives you the option to tailor your boost to your needs. With 6 boost presets and a scramble mode for overtaking, launching and protecting the engine, its never been easier to customise your journeys!

What makes this different to the existing 3005 G-Force III?

3008 comes with a MAC 4-Port solenoid in comparison to 3005’s MAC 3-Port solenoid.

It should be used on dual port wastegates where the target boost is more than double the gate pressure. This product is also applicable to vehicles where there is high exhaust back pressure or when 2-step/anti-lag systems blow the wastegate open during spool up.
