World premiere: H&R lowering springs for the new BMW M5

H&R lowering springs for the new BMW M5

The new BMW M5 continues to boast a brilliant V8 engine, which now provides even more power with a plug-in hybrid. 585 hp on the combustion engine side meets 197 electric horses, which sit between the engine and transmission and push the Bavarian thunderbolt like the famous Saturn rocket. Three-point-five to a hundred is quite impressive! In return, however, the vehicle’s unladen weight increases to two and a half tonnes.

At ‘BMW motorsport partner’ H&R, the appropriate lowering springs have already passed through the development department and will be available shortly. The resulting lowered centre of gravity ensures even more direct steering behaviour and reduced body movements in fast corners, thus concealing the vehicle weight. In addition, the forged wheels are perfectly positioned in their wheel arches and the silhouette is squat à la bonne heure! The ride comfort nevertheless remains suitable for long journeys.

In the case of leased vehicles, all H&R suspension upgrades can of course be removed without leaving a trace if the lessor requires the vehicle to be returned as delivered.

All H&R components always have the necessary part approvals and are Made in Germany!
