As is well known, Volkswagen offers the ‘GTE’ hybrid version as an alternative to the conventional GTi. 150 turbo hp meet 95 additional electric horses and ensure proper system propulsion. In keeping with the sporty driving performance, the H&R technology department enables variable height-adjustable lowering with its height adjustable springs, turning the eco-Golf into a real sports car.

Reduced body movements and even more direct steering behaviour are the result of the lowered centre of gravity (front 40-50mm, rear 35-45mm). Thanks to the precise adaptation of the suspension elements to the standard shocks, the ride comfort is still suitable for long journeys and all electronic control functions of the suspension are retained, as the standard shock absorbers are still included. Last but not least: the GTE also looks great with this measure, so does the e-Hybrid, which also uses the H&R height adjustable springs!

As an option, H&R Trak+ wheel spacers made of high-tensile aluminium promise the perfect wheelbase. Available in silver or black anodised finish, they allow both standard and aftermarket wheels to be aligned with millimetre precision to the edges of the wings.

In the case of leased vehicles, all H&R suspension upgrades can of course be removed without leaving a trace should the lease provider require the vehicle to be restored to its original condition.

As usual with H&R, all products are supplied with the necessary part approvals and are Made in Germany!
