Servicing our Aston Martin V8 Vantage and the parts we have selected

Here at Octane we wanted to share our very own service story from one of our vehicles; Our GMR supercharged Aston Martin Vantage V8.

Every vehicle deserves the very best service replacement parts and fluids, to ensure performance and reliability throughout the year. At Octane, we have relationships with the very best manufacturers in the industry so we can cherry pick what works the best. Here’s what we used on our Aston:

Engine Oil: We used 11L of Motul’s 8100 Power 10W-60, which is specially designed for high performance cars. For Race applications, we recommend using Motul’s 24/7 Le Mans 300V 10W-60.

Oil Filter: Febi-Bilstein’s spin on oil filter, 109061, was perfect for the job!

Air Filters: Our Vantage requires two air filters, we used Blueprint’s ADJ132232 which comes as a kit of two. You could also upgrade to ITG's Profilter set BH-281.

Cabin Filters: Our Vantage also requires two cabin filters, we once again used a Blueprint product, ADJ132520 which comes as a two piece kit.

All these products have applications for a selection of DB9 V12 and DBS Aston's too.

We will shortly be upgrading the tired (and unobtainable) rubber bushes on our Vantage with Powerflex upgrades...
